Western Wisconsin Health announces new Director of Finance

Western Wisconsin Health (WWH) is excited to announce the addition of Melissa Turngren as the Director of Finance. Melissa has 10 years of healthcare finance experience working as the Accountant for Hayward Area Memorial Hospital & Waters Edge. Prior to working in healthcare Melissa spent four years working as an Accountant in their Operations department of Peoples Bank Midwest in Hayward.  In December of 2022 Melissa completed her Master of Business Administration from Lakeland University. WWH Chief Financial Officer, Lea Kaiser stated “We are thrilled to have Melissa join our team.  Her specific skillset will assist our organization in developing and implementing strategic financial goals that will ensure we have the financial resources to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community.”

When Melissa is not at work, she is either volunteering in the community or working as an adjunct accounting employee for Northwood Technical College.  Depending on the season in her free time Melissa enjoys classic cross-country skiing, running, golfing, and spending time on the lake with family.
