Baldwin, WI (June 2019) – Adoray Home Health and Hospice and Adoray’s Treasures from the Heart celebrated the success of this fundraising campaign, with a special donor breakfast at the Treasures I store on Friday, June 7 from 9:00 – 11:00 am. This event was open to anyone that donated to the Raise the Roof Initiative. Music by Rick Stone and Roger Evans filled the sidewalks of main street Baldwin, as donors were treated to delicious breakfast and coffee from the Mocha Café. The “Raise the Roof” $20,000 fundraising campaign to help fund a new roof at the Baldwin Treasures I store, successfully has raised $21,500 thanks to the support of our amazing community and Adoray staff and volunteers.

This year both Treasures stores needed significant repairs to their buildings to ensure the stores were compliant with the City of Baldwin’s fire code. These repairs include installing new sheetrock, ceilings, and major electrical work. These repairs totaled roughly $35,000. Now due to natural wear and tear to the buildings Baldwin I needs a new roof and HVAC system. It is estimated that these necessary repairs will cost Adoray $20-$30,000 and fundraising is needed to make these repairs possible.

Adoray Home Health and Hospice is excited to announce that they will be having a Pop-Up Treasures from Heart Store in Hudson June 26- June 29, 2019, to help raise the additional fund needed for the HVAC portion of the building repairs. This unique sale will offer pre-loved clothing, furniture, and household items that are normally offered at our treasure’s stores in Baldwin, River Falls, and Osceola.

Adoray is looking for donations of gently used clothing, household items, sporting goods, and furniture. All donations must be clean and in resalable condition. Donations will be accepted two weeks prior to the sale at the Hudson Golf Club in Hudson, WI.
