On behalf of the Baldwin-Woodville Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Baldwin, we will be holding a public meeting for anyone interested in creating a new community event committee (currently known as June Bug Days).
We would like to thank the outgoing June Bug Day’s committee for their many years of hard work and dedication creating memorable events for our community’s entertainment and enjoyment! A special thank you to John Zevenbergen for his vision and leadership.
In order to run a successful, large scale, community event, individual volunteers and organizations are needed to be responsible for planning, fundraising and organizing.
Subcommittees will be needed for the following potential events: Parade, Beer and Band Tent, Vendors, Carnival, Tractor Pull, and the Fireworks Display. Currently there are organizations in place that will continue to run the Ball Tournament, Community Dinner, Miss Baldwin Coronation, the Medallion Hunt, Booster 5k and the Classic Car Show.
If you or your organization are interested in stepping up for our community to help plan our town celebration, please attend an informational meeting on: Thursday, August 15th at 6:00 p.m. at the Baldwin Municipal Center, 400 Cedar St, Baldwin, WI 54002.
